Eligibility Requirements
Whether you’re applying for the Grad Visa (without having a placement) or the J-1 Intern Visa (with placement), here’s what you need to know about applying for the visas.
You must:
✅Be at least 18.
✅Hold an Irish passport.
✅Intern in a field related to your studies or academic background (area of study listed on your degree).
✅Be a full-time Irish university student or recent graduate (within one year of the date on your graduation scroll) from an Irish or Northern Ireland university.
